Long Live Lax is a non-profit organization founded by a group of former RFH Regional High School students. Created in the wake of the heartbreaking loss of our friends, we are currently tasked with putting up a multipurpose sports wall at Fair Haven Fields. While the wall is the current goal, the organization is mainly focused on suicide prevention and to end the stigma surrounding mental health.
Multipurpose Sports Wall
The multipurpose sports wall is one of the current goals of Long Live Lax. This wall is to be constructed at Fair Haven Fields. It will serve as a place for kids to get outside and improve their fundamental skills in their respective sport.
- 30' wide x 12' tall x 8'' thick
- 30' x 30' plot of turf
If you have any questions regarding the wall, feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Long Live Lax has finalized the designs of the multi-purpose sports wall. The dimensions are to be 30 feet wide by 12 feet tall. The wall is going to be constructed in the Pit at Fair Haven Fields (by tennis courts). The wall has been formally approved by the town as well. However, the project estimate is substantially more expensive than anticipated due to having to bid the project through Fair Haven. Thus, our next steps are to:
- lower estimated cost by ...
- work with local companies to possibly get materials donated
- reevaluate design plans to see what elements can be modified while
maintaining the high quality result we all expect and desire
- put project out to bid
- begin construction as soon as possible
